Measure before you buy
An honest assessment reorders every shopping list. Most people are one category away from a real problem and three deep in the one they enjoy.
About
Always Ready Survival exists because most preparedness advice is either fear dressed as expertise or gear dressed as capability. Neither helps a family at 2 a.m. with no power.

Origin
The company was founded by a United States Marine Corps veteran who spent years watching the difference between people who had trained and people who had shopped. Under pressure, that difference is not subtle.
We build for families, not for a fantasy. The measure of a good plan is whether a twelve-year-old in your household could execute their part of it without you in the room.
The goal is that a visitor leaves thinking I can become more prepared — not I am doomed unless I buy something.
Orion has guided navigation for as long as people have travelled at night. It is on our mark for that reason, and it runs quietly through everything we build.
Principles
An honest assessment reorders every shopping list. Most people are one category away from a real problem and three deep in the one they enjoy.
No urgency manufactured to sell a kit, and no precision our data cannot carry. Where a number would be misleading, we publish a range instead.
A plan one person holds is a single point of failure. Everything we teach is designed to be shared, written down, and rehearsed together.
A backup that shares a failure mode with the primary is not a backup. We check for that everywhere.
Gear you have never used under stress is an assumption. We would rather you own less and have run it.
Weather, fire, and grid failure do not care how anyone votes. Our material stays on the practical questions.
